Cloud Strife (1997) personality type is INFP, so he is pretty much a pure INTJ, but he's said to be more like a lower-case-T (T would be the actual type letter here), which is why I think he is INTJ. I'm not really sure about FFVII's personality type, though. I haven't read any of the other FFVII books, so I can't really say. I know that his personality is similar to the INFP profile, but it might be a different thing. Maybe ENFJ?
I think Cloud has a lot of INTJ characteristics, but he doesn't have the cold, logical thinking that INTJs are known for. If you took out his "heart" (I'm not going to say "emotion", because that's a whole other thing; this is just about logic and objective thinking) he would be an INTJ. But I don't think he is all that cold, just very logical. The way he acts around Rufus (the villain in FFVII) shows that he's definitely not an EFJ at all. If Rufus had been an INTJ, they would have gotten along much better.
