History
Tachibana Muneshige was born in the late 14th century into the Tachibana clan, which was one of the many clans that make up the samurai class. His father was a swordsman, and his mother was a nurse to his father's patients. Muneshige was born with the ability to speak, something that was not common amongst members of the Tachibana clan, and this was often attributed to his mother's healing skills. He also had a brother who died very early in life, which caused Muneshige to be very protective of his mother. At the age of 15, he lost his mother to illness, and became even more protective of her.
