The true nature of the Star Gold is revealed to the world in the form of Ultraman Leo after the black hole is erased. Leo emerges from the star, which then begins to collapse in on itself creating a new star. When the star collapses, it creates a black hole, which Leo uses to create a new universe.
In his first appearance, Leo faces off against King Ghidorah, who has come to Earth to find the Planet X he needs to transform into a giant monster. He eventually manages to trap King Ghidorah in a cage made of meteors.
Leo reappears in the "Ultraman Leo vs. King Ghidorah" film. The Leo Drive is stolen by Ray Guardian from a group of humans and he heads to Earth with his fellow Ultras to retrieve it. One of them is a young girl, who Leo recognizes as his lost friend, Hilda. Ray Guardian is defeated by Leo and the Ultras, but Ray regains the Leo Drive and kidnaps Hilda. Ray Guardian and King Ghidorah are then trapped in the Leo Prison.
Ultraman Leo (ウルトラマンレオ, Urutoraman Reo) is the main protagonist of Ultraman Leo. After the destruction of his homeworld Planet L77 by Alien Magma, Leo lived on Earth assuming the human identity Gen Otori (おおとりゲン, Ōtori Gen). He is the older brother of Astra.
