Ultraman Tregear/Kirisaki personality type is INTP, and I think that's why he has the tendency to get so hyped when he's going to fight the Ultra Brothers.
In "Tregear", he and his team are searching for a mysterious orb, that can make anything disappear. They are attacked by the Ultra Brothers, when they are not looking for it. Tregear is not harmed by any of the attacks that are thrown at him, but he is still very hyped up about it.
In "Kirisaki", Tregear is first seen being busy, while on his way to a meeting with his superiors. He is attacked by the Ultra Brothers again, and is about to be killed by them. As he is about to die, he is saved by a mysterious young woman, who helps him escape. He is later seen, at the end of the episode, yelling at her for not telling him that she was a woman.
Both times, I think he's revealing some of his INTP traits. Focusing on something that he is not supposed to focus on, as well as getting excited about something that is not supposed to excite him.
