"I was definitely an extrovert," he recalls. "[But] I didn't want to be a social butterfly. I wanted to be independent and go to college, so I found ways to get away from people. I was always thinking of how to get away from people."
Breeny was a resident advisor in his freshman year at a large Midwestern university, where he didn't know anyone. "I realized that [I] was very uncomfortable in social situations," he explains.
