    ENTP (5w6)

Imhotep personality type is ENTP, the Intuitive Thinker (see figure 1). He’s a spark of genius, a man of ideas and thoughts, someone who can always find new ways to solve a problem, a man who’s always looking for the next thing. But he’s not easily understood by others. And he has no trouble finding trouble with others. ENTPs, like all Thinking types, are very imaginative and inventive, but they can be quite impractical, even erratic. They are great at coming up with new ideas but not so good at following through on them. ENTPs often see themselves as spiritual beings who don’t need human bodies to express themselves. And they don’t seem to have any real concern for the world around them. They are often caught up in other people’s problems and never seem to get involved in their own.

Packed with new ideas and insights about everything, ENTPs are sometimes perceived as being uninformed, impractical, or even chaotic. For example, they may suddenly want to play basketball, then decide they want to go skydiving. Or they may realize that they have no talent for speechmaking and want to quit public speaking for good.

Imhotep was an Egyptian chancellor to the pharaoh Djoser, the probable architect of the Djoser's step pyramid, and high priest of the sun god Ra at Heliopolis. Very little is known of Imhotep as a historical figure, but in the 3000 years following his death, he was gradually glorified and deified.
