Dr. Flappe personality type is INTP, so I’m not surprised to see a love of puzzles and logic, things that he can work out and analyze.
I’m also not surprised to see a love of philosophy. This is the type of person who is great at talking about theories, testing them against reality, and seeing the flaws.
I’m also surprised by his preference for fiction. I would have expected him to be more into essays than novels.
A lot of people are surprised by his lack of interest in sports. I’m not sure why. Some people think it’s because he has a thing for his sister, but I think that’s a stretch. He just doesn’t like sports in general.
And if you look at all these things together, you can see a remarkable consistency. The same things come up again and again in everything he’s written.
My theory on the order of these things is that he wrote about the things that were most important to him, and then repeated them over and over, until it became clear he had a pattern.
