Guldo personality type is ESFP, the dramatic, impulsive extrovert. Gintoki, however, is more of a NF, the quiet, sensitive introvert. He is artistic, witty, and insecure, but often acts rashly out of impulse. Sayuri represents the Se of NF, the emotionally sensitive side of him. She is more of an ESFP, the expressive extrovert. She is sympathetic, curious, and energetic.
When Gintoki and Sayuri first met, he called her a "pretty little girl". They were both confused by this term because they were pretty much the same. Later on in the series, he calls her "master", which is a more respectful way to call someone who is older than you are.
