King Kai personality type is ESFJ, and the King Kai theme is The King. In the first episode King Kai is introduced as a dull-witted dullard, but as the series progresses he becomes a wiser and more powerful being as the times change. He is the only person that has been able to beat Goku in a fight.
In the Dragon Ball Z anime, King Kai is a good-natured old man who resides on the planet Vegeta. He first appears as a small orb of light, who becomes a larger orb of light and then a being. He says he comes from the other side of the universe and was sent to watch over Goku because of his incredible strength. However, he is shown to be willing to help others if they ask for it, as he offered his help to Goku, God, and even Frieza after they asked for it. He makes a brief appearance at the end of Dragon Ball Z, when he watches Goku's fight with Frieza, but is not seen again after that.
He also appears in Dragon Ball GT, where he offers Goku a wish to revive all Saiyans killed by Frieza. However, Goku's wish is to test out his new power.
