Juuzou Kadokura personality type is ISFP, which is the same as his father, Hotaru. He is voiced by Hisao Egawa in the Japanese version and by John DiMaggio in the English dub.
He has a very close relationship with his father, whom he calls "Sensei" (先生, sensei). Ever since the bombing of Jindai High School, he has been worried about his father's health and is constantly searching for him. Although he has little contact with his mother Fuyutsuki, he does admit that he does not dislike her.
In the manga, he and Suzushiro are each other's first love, and begin dating after Suzushiro's family moves to Tokyo from Okinawa. They plan to marry when they graduate from high school, but their relationship ends shortly after their graduation when Suzushiro meets his future wife, Momoko Akagi.
His feelings for Suzushiro are similar to those of Momoko, whom he thought of as his future bride. This compels him to become the Okabe Rintarou of the future on a quest to save the world. He is determined to succeed in saving Suzushiro and will do anything to make his world perfect.
