Kristine is a supporting character in my novel “Memento Mori.” She greatly values tradition and often pushes her ideals on others. She hates anyone and anything she deems “different” and views them as unworthy. Cold and stern, Kristine likes to order people around and finds comfort being viewed as superior. Regardless of her malicious actions, Kristine still believes she is a good, god-fearing person. She is merely unable to accept that her beliefs are flawed. Because of this, she takes it upon herself to “fix” others by forcing them to conform to how she sees fix. It is only until a traumatic event happens where she realizes the gravity of her past actions. She struggles with redemption due to how close-minded by nature she is, but ultimately tries to understand the world from other points of view.
