"I've had a lot of opportunities to work on different projects," she said. "I feel fortunate that I'm able to work for the MTA."
She has a degree in psychology from California State University, Long Beach, where she studied counseling.
"I like the people that I work with," she said. "It's a really nice social environment. We have a lot of fun here."
She loves her job and loves the city of New York. She loves the subway and walking through the city. She also likes living in Queens, which isn't too far from work.
"I can get to work easily," she said. "I can get where I'm going easily. It's the best location."
She doesn't have much time to spend with her friends outside of work since she has to travel back and forth to Long Beach for her daughter's school in California.
"I do have one very close friend that I see most of my time," she said. "I just see her on weekends."
She's happy for this break as well.
