Doctor Berger personality type is INTP, but I would say that he is more of a thinker than an engineer. The truth is that the most interesting part of his job is the research part, not the engineering part.
He is an INTP. I agree with the others that the most important part of his job is the research, not the engineering. However, he does start to do some design work when projects get bigger and bigger. I don’t think he is a very good engineer. He is much more of a thinker in terms of how to solve a problem, and that requires him to know a lot about systems and relationships.
