I wish I knew! I would say that my problem is “I need to feel validated by other people.” I need to feel that I’m seen, heard, and understood. If I know that I’m being understood and supported, then I can feel okay with myself. But when I feel like I’m not being heard, it feels like a rejection of myself. In some way, it feels like I’m not being seen as the real me.
When I feel like that, it makes me feel very anxious and it makes me feel very sad. So I’d say that those are my biggest issues right now.
I was also interested in the survey about how you think you’re perceived by others, and how others think of you. How do you think others perceive you? Would you say you’re “warm,” “open-minded,” and “intellectual?”
I think I’m warm. I think I am open-minded, but not very intellectual.
