Cornflower personality type is INTP, and I have some mixed feelings about their choice of colors. I mean, this is a flower, for heavens sake. And, what the hell is that color? It's not the blue of the cornflower or anything. It's actually kind of like a greenish-yellow.
Anyway, there are lots of colors in the cornflower family besides blue, and I like some of them more than others. I'm not super fond of the colors called "black" and "blackish", and while I like black-and-white, I actually don't like black here. I think the blue looks better with the reds, so I'm going to call this one medium blue (not light or dark).
This was a fun and easy project. The hardest part was making the beads, but that's not hard at all! The ones in the middle are about 1.5mm in diameter, and the others are maybe 1mm. You can use any type of seed bead you want, though I have to admit that these amethyst/rose ones are my favorite because they match my amethyst beads and earrings perfectly.
This pattern is a great way to use up scraps of fabric too!
