Mother personality type is ESTJ, which makes me more of a distant friend than anything else. I'm not trying to sound mean but I don't think you can ever really know someone when you're in such a close relationship. In fact, I would consider being in a relationship with motherly types as being on the same level as being in a relationship with your best friend. I'm not saying I don't like or love them, I'm just saying that I don't think I could ever feel anything more than that.
I think it is possible to feel love with them though. I love my mother and she is my mother.
I feel like she has a special place in my heart and in time, I may even grow to feel the same way about her as I do for my father.
I also feel that it is possible to love someone like that. Maybe that is why I'm so hesitant to get into a relationship at all. Maybe I'm scared of loving someone and having that love not be returned because it doesn't fit a type of love that is usually reserved for family members and best friends. I don't think that will be the case though.
