12 He Doesn't Trust Anyone
When Minerva died in the season 1 finale, he didn't trust anyone. He saw her as weak, and was willing to let her die in order to get the Grey Matter back. He didn't trust the others at all, and he didn't trust James either.
In "The Remains of the Grey Matter" he said the only people he trusted are his son and his wife, but that's not true. James is clearly someone he doesn't trust, as he whips him around and makes him do his bidding. He even tried to kill him at one point.
