This would explain some of the differences in their opinions on things, but not all of them. It would also explain why they are so different in personality and temperament, but not why they are also different in their views on issues. This may be a more accurate description of them, but it doesn't explain what I'm looking for.
I have been trying to discern the results of my personality type using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and have been flummoxed. I am an ISTJ and my husband is an ENTJ. We were told that we were the "perfect" match, and we both had the same personality type, but we are very different in our views on politics. For example, he thinks that "small government" is best for America, and I think that "big government" is best for America. He believes that government should protect the people from evil and harm, and I believe that government should provide for the common good.
