Max-Ernest personality type is INTP, and his mother was an INTP. I believe that’s why K-Mart was so disappointed to find out he’s an ENTP. He thought he was INTP and that’s why he let him go to the mental hospital. The fact that he’s an ENTP just confirmed his suspicions about himself and his own diagnosis. I’ll bet you anything that someone with a similar personality type would be just as disappointed to learn that they’re not an INTP when they’re in the mental hospital.
My mother was an INTP when she was in the psychiatric unit. She was there for a while before she finally passed away. She had a lot of love for everyone, but she really didn’t understand people very well. There was the same kind of misunderstanding going on between her and people. She didn’t really understand people very well and she thought she did. She thought she understood everything that people were saying and doing, but she didn’t. Her mind was kind of messed up in a way that she couldn’t really understand what other people were thinking or feeling. I guess it was kind of like being autistic.
