Eric personality type is INTP, and are often hilarious, but can also be frustratingly cryptic.
INTP's tend to argue with themselves, and that can be difficult. They'll often have a long conversation with themselves, or even argue with themselves in their head. They may even have a conversation with their therapist that could last an hour. Their inner monologues may seem like they're arguing with each other and they'll keep going on and on until the therapist decides to help them get to the end of the discussion or stop talking altogether.
If you want to be successful with an INTP, you'll have to remember that they're usually not trying to be difficult. They're just thinking about things as much as you are and trying to work things out for themselves so they can put them into words for you. In some cases, they may have trouble saying what they've just thought out and need to process it more before they can say it.
If you feel like you're dealing with a wild animal, an INTP may actually be just trying to figure things out as much as you are. They just don't share their thoughts with their friends in the same way that we do.
