Al personality type is ESTJ, an extroverted, sensing, thinking type. As a result of the extroverted intuitive function, ESTJs make excellent managers, but they are not likely to be creative visionaries or leaders. This is because their dominant function is extraverted (S) which tends to exert a heavy weight on the thinking process. ESTJ’s are not likely to be effective in a leadership role unless they have developed their intuitive function.
ESTJs can be effective when they are allowed to take some extra time to consider alternatives and consider the validity of their initial conclusions.
ESTJs tend to have a hard time making friends because of their cautious nature and will be very guarded in their social interactions. This makes ESTJs excellent leaders and managers, but not so good at making friends.
ESTJs can be very blunt and decisive. They have a tendency to come across as cold and humorless. However, ESTJs can be very warm and loyal friends who will stick by you through thick and thin.
ESTJs do not like to make decisions that will upset people. They prefer to find consensus and compromise with other people than force them into a decision that they do not agree with.
