Glenn the Yep Man personality type is ESFP, but it’s a rare thing in our society to be anything other than the norm. I don’t think Glenn was ever truly an introvert. He was more like the square peg that was forced into a round hole. There’s a scene in the pilot where Glenn is watching TV and there is a commercial for “The Glenn”, a personality that is an extrovert, but he was not an extrovert. That’s why I think he went from Rick to Rick Grimes.
EXTREMES
I think Glenn is an ESFP, but he was so far out of the box that I can’t go with the straight arrow, blue-collar workaholic type. He was more of an extreme version of that. He was extremely passionate about things, but he had no idea how to deal with it. He didn’t have that confidence, that know-how to deal with people, or have the social skills to know what to do with people that he didn’t know. He just had no idea.
