The family spent a lot of time together. They went on holiday together, made meals together, and often just sat together and talked. It is clear that they were a close-knit family, but it is unclear where Cobwebs got his intrinsic need to be alone.

Cobwebs had a happy childhood, although he was sometimes bullied as a child. He was a very intelligent child, but his parents did not encourage him to pursue his natural gifts. His father wanted him to become a doctor like him, and his mother wanted him to be a teacher like her. Cobwebs, however, had other ideas.
