The great thing about ESTJs is they can be very good at organizing and making a plan, but they also "have a real appreciation for process," says Welton. "They are good at seeing things through."
The bad thing is that they can be stubborn and inflexible, which can make them great planners but also disastrous leaders. "They don't necessarily want to change in the face of new information or new needs," says Welton. "They see things the way they've always done them."
Which is why we don't necessarily recommend ESTJs for leadership roles. "They're not the best at collaborating," says Welton. "They can be a little bit stubborn and inflexible."
