I assumed that the content of the video was made by a creative, creative and intelligent person who was very talented in making videos. But, I was wrong. In fact, the content of the video was ‘stolen’ from a popular YouTube channel called The Dankness Truth. I didn’t know about this channel and the content was not shared on my social media channels, which is why I didn’t notice it. The video was uploaded on February 11, 2018.
The video was shared on my Twitter and Facebook timelines and I started seeing people asking me questions. One of them asked me if I knew who made the video and I said “No, I don’t”. He then said “Why don’t you share this video on your social media?” I hesitated and said “I don’t know anybody who makes memes”.
I told him how the video got to me and he said that the video was in fact an original work. I again hesitated, because I didn’t have faith in my perception of reality.
