Pat Montgomery personality type is INTP, though I have a hard time believing that is his actual personality type. He comes off as more of a type 2 than type 1. He's unpredictable, lacks a sense of self, and is very quick to anger. However, he has a good heart with a strong sense of morality and duty.
I'm not sure about his character development, but I think he becomes more like the person we first saw him as in the last episode of the second season: a loyal, brave soldier who has seen too much bloodshed.
