I don’t know how many of you have noticed that ENTP has the initials N and P reversed on the X-axis in most of the personality type diagrams. Some people think that this is just a typo, or it’s just a way to make it easier to read. I’ve found that this is not the case.

Here’s a diagram of the other types on the INTP scale:

As you can see, ENTP is right on the X-Axis.

The ENTJ (INTP with extra J) and INTJ (ENTP with extra J) have the same reverse on the Y-Axis.

So, I think that it is clear that ENTP is an INTP, and was one before it was added to the INTP scale.

The ENTP that I’m talking about is the ENTP that you have in your head, and not the ENTP that you find in society.
