(Katherine) My favorite painting that I have done has been called "Chariot Of The Sun". It is an allegory of the sun's path through the night sky. I have always been a huge fan of the sun and its journey through the night sky. I think that this piece is a very powerful metaphor for the theme of my own life.
I think it is similar to the piece that I did in second grade, "The Golden Apple Tree". Although that piece was in crayon, this one is in oil paint.
