At first glance, this may seem contradictory, but it actually makes sense. Many people think that introversion means shyness and extroversion means outgoing, but this is not necessarily the case. Basically, being introverted means you have a hard time getting things started and tend to wait for others to initiate things. On the other hand, being extroverted means you like to initiate things and are more likely to be overbearing and pushy.
INTJs are the most extroverted of the big three personality types. They are the opposite of INTPs in many ways, but they do share many things in common and the two types are a lot more similar than people realize.
INTJs and INTPs could be described as the "wacky uncle" of the group. They can be highly eccentric, highly intelligent, and highly creative.
