Iggy personality type is INTP, so we can assume that he is not a very social person. He doesn't believe in the sort of social niceties that society tends to use to assert dominance over others, so I can imagine that he would find himself at odds with the social structure of a lot of people. His disdain for the status quo and his belief in his own uniqueness are traits that are shared by many other INTPs, so the fact that is he not a very social person is no surprise.
There have been many attempts to explain the theory behind this personality type. One theory says that INTPs are simply bad at making friends, and that they are also bad at being around people. However, this is not what I have seen with Iggy. I don't think that he is just bad at making friends, but rather, I think he is just not interested in becoming one. He is happy being an introvert and having the one-on-one relationships that he has with his family and his band. He is fine with being an outsider, and he knows what a "social butterfly" looks like, so he doesn't feel the need to be one.
