As you can see, both the ISTP and SEI are "Fight or Flight" personalities.

They're both "Introverts" who avoid conflict, and tend to be very laid back and non-confrontational.
However, their strategy for getting things done is very different.
For the ISTP, success is achieved through:
working hard and long hours at the office
having a great team of people working for him or her, and working hard on their behalf.
This is a good description of the old-school "big boss man" who runs a big company and gets the job done while making plenty of money.
The ISTP prefers to work alone - often doing so in a quiet area away from prying eyes (like in his or her home office).
The ISTP prefers to be in charge. They're "in charge" of the people they work with, and they make sure they get things done.
