Kojo Tsuchiya personality type is INTP, but his uncorrupted Keirsey personality type is ENTP. I was surprised at how often he seemed to be in the ENTP category, even though he told me that he usually likes to think of himself as INTP. I was also surprised at how much time he spent with the ISTP type—he had them as his closest friends for five years. When I asked him about it, he said that he felt that with the ISTP types, he could be himself, and felt like he could relate to them. He didn’t like the feeling of being trapped in an INTP box with the ENTP types, so he was very relieved when he found out that he was not an ENTP. It was also very hard for him to talk to an ENTP; he felt like he was being judged as inferior. He didn’t feel like he could be himself with them.
When our interview was over, he looked sad, and I felt really guilty. He said that he had been looking forward to talking with me, and was hoping I would be able to clear up some of his confusion about his type.
