I have to agree with you. It is very interesting that the MBTI test seems to indicate that the people we know as great leaders are not always those we would expect them to be based on their personalities.

I don't know if I would go so far as to say that it's "successful," but the Myers-Briggs Test has done a pretty good job of identifying the types that are most likely to be successful in various kinds of leadership roles.

I find it interesting that one of the MBTI's founders was a woman, and it was a man, Carl Jung, who popularized it in the first place. (It's called "Jungian" for a reason.)
This is a fascinating new concept, and I think that it has much to contribute to our understanding of personality and how it affects people.
