Rugrats personality type is INTP, as a result of my mother being an ENTP. My father's interest in science and creativity influenced me to follow this path, but it was my mother's interest in literature and art, along with her love of words and abstract concepts that made me become an INTP.
I was first introduced to the writings of Carl Jung when I took a psychology class in my sophomore year of high school. I was fascinated by the concept of the unconscious mind and its role in who we are and how we behave. I had also been reading the classics since middle school, notably the works of Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, and Leo Tolstoy. I was most interested in understanding why people do the things they do, and whether or not people are deserving of their actions. I wanted to know if my parents were right when they said that a person could change his or her ways and be a better person.
I also wanted to know what made people who they were, what they were good at, and what they had to offer society in general. I read Jung because he seemed to have a more scientific approach to understanding the human mind than did Freud.
