I spoke with my mother, sister and two Ashton cousins, and they all told me that they were all high-functioning INTPs. I have a hard time believing that all of them are INTPs because I've never met anyone with that personality who is also an Ashton. But, I also don't believe that there are that many INTP Ashton's in the world. Everyone I've spoken to about this rare personality type has said that it's incredibly hard to find another INTP Ashton. It sounds like it would be extremely rare to find a group of people with the same rare personality type and rare last name.
I reached out to a few people with Ashton family last names and most of them told me that it's not as rare as I thought it was. They told me that there are a few people with Ashton last names, but most are related because they're all in one large family.
