I am an ESTJ and I don't like it. A Trump supporter, I am a white male, and I am very patriotic. A right-wing bigot, I am not particularly religious, but definitely Christian. A big, big fan of the military, I am a gun lover and a hunter. A Republican, I am a member of the Republican Party. And I am a patriot.
Why the self-identification as ESTJ?
I was disappointed early on in life to discover that I was not more like my father, and was instead more like my mother. I guess I got her mother’s genes. I found it easier to identify with her more than her father. And as a child it is easier to be like your mother than your father. And as a boy it is easier to follow your mother than your father. And as a Republican it is easier to be like your Republican party than your Democratic party. And as a gun-lover it is easier to be a gun-lover than a law-abiding citizen with a gun.
The ESTJ personality type is the most common personality type in America.
