A number of people have approached me over the years about what my Myers-Briggs personality type was. The usual reaction is either “Why do you ask?” or (more commonly) “What is your type?” I thought that maybe it would be helpful to others to list some of the basic types and explain why they are listed that way.
1. ISFP
ISFPs are known as “The Artist” type. The art that they create is often the first thing that people notice about them. It is often their favorite thing to do. They are very talented at creating art, playing music, acting, etc. They are often described as very sensitive, emotional, and artistic. ISFPs can be very artistic in their lifestyle choices as well. They like to decorate with art and use art as a way to express themselves.
