Optimus Prime personality type is INTP, and that's the personality type of Colonel Meow and Optimus Prime. (If you're interested in learning more about the different types, and how they relate to the Myers-Briggs personality model, I wrote an entire article about it .)
It's interesting to note that our three fictional Transformers personalities all share some similarities with the Myers-Briggs personality types. The Optimus Prime personality type has the following characteristics:

Optimistic and gentle.
Optimus Prime's personality is also similar to the Myers-Briggs personality type of ENTP (Introverted, Extraverted, Thinking, Perceiving). For example, ENTPs are often creative and innovative, and value new ideas and possibilities over tradition. They are also very intelligent and are often described as having a wide-ranging intellect. They are usually intelligent, charming, and can be very charming, but can also be aggressive and opinionated and can sometimes be considered insensitive. They usually tend to be quite focused on the future and can be very optimistic about what the future holds.
