He's not a very nice person. He tends to get into fights with other kids his age, and he doesn't like sharing. He wants everything for himself, and his parents seem to do little to curb his temper.
The worst part is, he's always been this way. It's not like he was nice to people when he was younger, or even at the beginning of the series.
Yamato was raised by his parents to be a ruthless killer. He was trained from birth to be an assassin, and he's pretty damn good at it. He doesn't hesitate to do what he has to do, but he doesn't like killing kids. That's not right, but it's his job, and he has to do it.
That's where his anger comes from. It's built up over the years, and it gets worse every time he sees someone kill a kid. Yamato has always hated himself for being so good at what he does, and he's become extremely bitter because of it.
