Sensei personality type is INTP, it’s also true that INTPs are the types most likely to do this. However, that doesn’t mean that all INTPs are like this.
As a generalization, the INTP personality type is not only defined by its preference for abstract logic and theory, but it also tends to be excessively critical of others’ ideas, even when those others are in fact INTP themselves. INTPs may even take it as a personal affront for their ideas to be criticized by others.
For example, if a coworker is explaining his or her latest idea to you, you might see some of your own ideas in there. If so, you may begin to notice that your coworker is being a little too harsh on you. But rather than taking this as an indication that you’ve been wronged, you may instead conclude that your coworker is merely being overly critical of your ideas, which you don’t really deserve.
This can be confusing and frustrating for INTPs, who have a tendency to take criticism personally.
