Randall Roth personality type is ISFP, which makes me a lazy sad sack. I can't help it, I'm a weak-willed idealist who gets stuck in my head and can't seem to see the world from outside the lens of my own imagination. I'll get to the self-actualization bit in a moment, but first, a little excursion into me.
I was an aspiring writer for most of my life, until I discovered that I was pretty crap at it. I started off as a kid, writing short stories about imaginary friends and making up games with my sister, and for a while it was fun to create stories out of thin air. Eventually, however, I became dismayed at my lack of talent, and began to look for something else to do.
So I went to art school. I studied illustration, and spent my time drawing strange cartoon characters and drawings of myself in the nude. I was really bad at it. I mean really bad, and I only lasted one semester. The intro to art course was basically a tutorial on how to fail at life, and I got the message loud and clear. So I switched to photography, hoping that I would be better at it.
