Sephiroth personality type is ENTJ, but I'm definitely not a true INTJ. He's a combination of both, but he's far from a true INTJ. The true INTJ's are far more logical than he is. If you compare characters from the FFVII universe, namely Sephiroth, Cloud, Zack, and Tifa, then you'll notice that Sephiroth follows through with his thoughts and plans, and Cloud is much more reckless and impulsive, Zack is more of a pacifist, and Tifa is much more realistic. But then again, that's just my interpretation of the characters. For example, I think Cloud's reckless personality is because he has a good heart inside of him, and he doesn't allow himself to get hurt by his emotions. And I also think Tifa's personality comes from her past. She had to live through so much pain, and she didn't want to see others suffer the same pain she went through. But that could just be me.
The games are very different in the sense that they don't follow the exact same plot lines. The real question is "how similar are they?"
