Jay Russell personality type is ESTJ, and I believe that is true. However, in my opinion, his personality type is an ENTP. I base this on the fact that he was not interested in his career, only money. He was not interested in his mother, only money. He was not interested in his relationships, only money. He was not interested in his friends, only money. And, he was not interested in helping others, only money. In my opinion, an ENTP would do all of those things. Most of the time, ENTPs are highly intelligent, but do not understand the emotional world, so they are not as much help to others as the other types are.
I know the ESTJ is the most common type for this job. I know that is because there are more ESTJ managers that hold this kind of job. But, I also know that this is because it is a common stereotype that all managers have to be ESTJ's. If all managers were ENTPs, they would not be as common as they are now. But, I think the stereotype is wrong and that a good manager should be a good fit for any employee.
