My ideal hero is a stereotypical video game hero, who is a bit of a shame among his people because he does not fully understand himself and his feelings towards the heroine. He's shy, but tries to talk to the heroine anyway, only to find that she's not interested in him. He is also kind and gentle, which is why his people do not regard him highly. He resents the heroine for being so cold to him, because he is genuinely interested in her.
