Jo Tae-Sik personality type is INTP, the second most common type in Korea. His personality type is not necessarily male-female, or even Korean-American. It's a little known fact that a significant amount of the population of Korea and North America are INTPs (about 9%). I think of the INTP personality type as the "freelancer" personality type. This is a person who wants to live by their own rules, independently and without commitment. They don't like to be tied down to a job or a social obligation. They don't like to be dictated to by anyone. They don't like to be told what to do or how to do it. They don't like to be told what to wear or how to talk or even how to think.
For the most part, they don't want to be in a relationship where they are being dictated to and they are expected to just go along with something they don't agree with.
