After the loss of her father, the Dark Lord, the world fell into chaos. Many wars and natural disasters broke out, and it was believed that the world would not be able to survive any further changes. The only hope for the future was the Hidden Village of Shikoku, far away from the warzone. In order to protect the village, Tenkū had a child sacrificed for the sake of the village's survival. Her child was named Tenko, and she was raised by her father's advisor, Sawarabi. To hide Tenko from humanity, Sawarabi taught her to hide her true emotions. Tenko grew up believing herself to be a normal girl with a normal smile, but it was all a lie. Tenko was the first of the Tenkū's children, and she was therefore naturally gifted with magic. Unfortunately, she was born without a halo, which meant that she couldn't use her magic unless she was motivated enough. At first she could not use magic at all, but once she had enough determination, she started to use it quite well.
