Appearance
The Nightmare King is a humanoid figure clad in a skeleton-like mask, a tattered black robe, and leg-like spikes. The Nightmare King's head is the only part of his body that isn't skeletal or bony, instead having a flat skull and a pair of cat-like ears that are always upright. The Nightmare King also has no lips, though his teeth seem to be fangs. He has three eyes on the top of his head: one blue, one green and one yellow.
Biography
As a child, Grimm had an abusive father who he hated and was eventually driven to insanity by. He spent the rest of his life cursing his father and wishing for revenge. His wishes were granted when his father was killed in a bomb explosion. Grimm became the Nightmare King, a being of pure evil, and would go on to terrorize Earth for centuries.
Grimm's first appearance was when he summoned the Nightmarelands during the Great War, when he sends forth all Nightmares to attack Earth through a portal created by the Chaos Emeralds.
