Humungus, The personality type is ESTJ, the child of a middle-class family. In 1981, the band released their first full-length album, "Stiff Little Fingers", on the label of "Chiswick Records". The band's second album, "Bastard Life", was released on the same label in 1982. They were signed to Island Records and released their third album, "The Boys Are Back in Town" in 1983.
In 1983, the band won the UK's first ever Grammy Award for Best UK Indie Band. This was part of a UK-wide award scheme that was born out of the British Phonographic Industry's (BPI) attempts to encourage UK artists to be signed to major record labels.
The band continued to tour and release more albums. They also had many side projects such as their side project group, Eloise. The Eloise project had a hit single with "Fuckin' Up (A Bit)" and their own eponymous EP: "Eloise". The EP was recorded in 1984 and released on the same label as Bastards' second album, "Sister Ray".
In 1991 the band released their eighth album, "Hits".
