History
Korbut was a young girl born in the year A.D. 355. Her father was champion of the district and her mother was a famous athlete. As a child she was very energetic and athletic. She was better at running and jumping and always dreamed of becoming an Olympic Games champion. She was very talented at gymnastics, but she never liked the idea of doing a sport that people could see her doing around town. She did not like being seen as a girl who can only do gymnastics or as a girl who is only good at gymnastics.
The anime version of Korbut's character shows that she was one of the youngest members of the Soviet Olympic team. Her father was a strongman who trained her from a young age.
