The Metaverse personality type is INTP, and I have a little more understanding of why than I did when I first got this book. I’ve been around INTPs before and know how they work, but I still don’t totally get it. The way that the author explains it is that INTPs ask a lot of questions, they think about the implications of those questions, and then they try to find answers. One of their biggest problems is that they don’t seem to understand what is possible; they tend to make decisions based on what they think is possible, and they don’t always know how to adapt those decisions if they turn out to be wrong. That’s why they’re so good at coming up with new ideas and new projects, but it also means that they can easily make mistakes in the execution of those projects.
The book is divided into three parts. Part I deals with the techniques for working with INTPs, and Part II deals with the personality type itself. Part III deals with some of the things that keep INTPs from succeeding in their goals.
